This is quite a funny tip for me, this is how to change the color of the Blue Screen, to be a Red Screen for an example, for my knowledge, this only works with 2000/XP/2003. You can try on 7 or Vista though, post in the comments below if it worked.
To change the colors, go to the Windows folder, by going to %systemroot%, and open the system.ini file inside. Now, locate the [386enh] section. If it’s not in there yet, create these entries:
* MessageBackColor =
* MessageTextColor=
The back color is the “Blue”, and the Text is the “White”, so you can change the colors with the following list:
* 0 = black
* 1 = blue
* 2 = green
* 3 = cyan
* 4 = red
* 5 = magenta
* 6 = yellow/brown
* 7 = white
* 8 = gray
* 9 = bright blue
* A = bright green
* B = bright cyan
* C = bright red
* D = bright magenta
* E = bright yellow
* F = bright white
Also, if you select any of the letters, make sure to put the letter in capitals, like D instead of d.
After you changed, make sure to save the file, and restart your PC. Now, crash your system, and see the magic appear!
