Many of you are asking us how you can help make astalavista better, well I've created this topic to let you know how you can help the community grow with just some minutes a day.

There are plenty of ways you can get involved:

  • Consider helping us on the links section, go through your bookmarks and let us know which websites are more useful, surely you'll find 5 or 10 that are security related and good readings for others. Think of this section as as collaborative community bookmark.

  • Interested on helping us with wargames? We accept VM Images of wargames so you can do them on your own, document the targets and send it to us, we'll put them online for you.

  • Hacking challenges... We'll soon be opening We have opened a new gaming section with categories for people to submit and play hacking challenges... From logic riddles to crackIt's, Programming to Exploiting... you can contribute by sending your levels to me (Sykadul) and i'll add them to the platform, be sure your game will be enjoyed by many other members.

  • Last but not least, post smart/logical questions, make sure you're posting on the appropriate section and that you give as many details as you can about your problem, only that way someone will assist you FASTER and BETTER.

  • Any doubts you may have on these and other aspects don't hesitate do drop me a line. If you think you can help us do better then give it a try, you'll be showing everyone you not only know how to criticize but that you actually make it better.

We're a friendly crew and we look forward to have you on board our community as a contributor.

Are you potentially interested in hosting them here?

OK- I am saying HI! :-) . This is my first post in here and although I am a long time "run of the mill " tech I am not much of an uploader tho have grabbed a few things over the years .. Am VERY impressed with this site and must admit to not really having looked closely when first joined here . I have been on a few sites that are just like grab a program n go and thought this was much the same . OOOPS... So happy to be wrong and look forward to learning new tricks . Cheers -Perry :coffee:
